To enter Indonesia, you will need a visa.

If you are a tourist from an eligible country and plan to stay less than 60 days, you can get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at the airport. Otherwise, you'll need to apply for a B211A visa beforehand.

How to apply for B211A Visit Visa?
In order to apply for a B211A Visit Visa, go to B211A Visit Visa page and follow the checkout instructions.

What documents are needed for the application?
Color copy of passport (front cover + ID page). Passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months when entering Indonesia
Passport photo / selfie (white background)
International health/travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage (for your entire stay in Indonesia)
Vaccination certificate (min. 2 vaccinations against COVID-19 required for entry for all persons aged 18 and over)
Return flight ticket or flight reservation (if you haven’t booked your flight yet, we will make the reservation for you)
When should I apply for the visa?
We recommend to do the application about 4 weeks before your intended arrival. Entry regulations are changing frequently, therefore we recommend not to book too many months in advance.

How long does the visa application process take?
It takes approximately 7 to 10 working days from the day we upload the documents to the immigration website.

How long is the visa valid?
The B211A Visit Visa is initially valid for 60 days and can be extended up to 2 times for another 60 days at a time.

The maximum stay cannot exceed 180 days. Before your B211A Visit Visa expires, it is possible to apply for another B211A Visit Visa (Onshore) without leaving Indonesia.

How much does it cost?
The B211A Visit Visa costs 295,00 USD for 60 days. Each extension costs 2.600.000 IDR (about 175,00 USD) for another 60 days.

How to extend your B211A visa?
The B211A visa can only be extended by your sponsor.

Here is the extension procedure for our clients:

1.) Purchase the visa extension HERE.

2.) After purchasing the visa extension, please fill in the extension form that we send you by email

3.) We collect your passport from your accommodation

4.) We fill in all documents and submit them together with your passport to the immigration office and pay the extension fee

5.) You will receive a date for photo and fingerprint (biometrics) appointment at the immigration office (you are required to attend this appointment in person)

6.) We return your passport after the visa extension is completed (approx. 10-14 days)

Who is eligible for Visa On Arrival?
In order to get a Visa On Arrival, you need to hold a passport of one of the 60 countries eligible for Visa On Arrival.

What are the requirements for Visa On Arrival?
The reason for the visit is for tourism purposes (a B211A visa is required for business, family visits, etc.)
Your passport is valid for at least 6 months upon entry (emergency passports are not allowed).
You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (min. 2 vaccinations, latest a minimum of 14 days before arrival in Indonesia) OR have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 a maximum of 30 days before departure but can show a doctor’s certificate from a government hospital in the country of departure stating that you are no longer actively transmitting COVID-19 (COVID-19 recovery certificate) OR can show a doctor’s certificate from a government hospital in the country of departure of your inability to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination program due to a special health condition or a comorbid disease.

Where do I get the Visa On Arrival?
If you are holding a passport from a country that is eligible for Visa On Arrival, you can purchase it for 500.000 IDR at the airport when you enter Indonesia. It is not possible to receive the Visa On Arrival in advance.

How long is the Visa On Arrival valid?
The Visa On Arrival is initially valid for 30 days and can be extended one time for another 30 days.

How much does the Visa On Arrival cost?
The Visa On Arrival costs 500.000 IDR. The extension costs 500.000 IDR if you do it by yourself or approximately 1.140.000 if one of our staff helps you with the extension.

How to extend the Visa On Arrival?

You can extend the Visa On Arrival by yourself about one week before it expires at the immigration office in charge for the area where you are staying

What to bring for the extension:
1.) Original passport

2.) Ticket for return or onward travel

3.) Filled PERDIM 23 form (you can get this at immigration)

4.) Police Certificate (only necessary if you live in Ubud, Gianyar, Denpasar, Sanur, Mengwi, Seseh -> area of responsibility of Immigration Denpasar).

Visa On Arrival extension process:
1.) Go to immigration office during a weekday in the morning (preferably 30 minutes before the immigration office opens) and get a queue number to submit your visa extension application. You can ask the reception desk for help to get the queue number. NOTE! Denpasar immigration office might require booking an appointment in advance. You will receive a billing code for the payment of 500.000 IDR (extension fee).

2.) Bring the paper with the billing code to a bank to pay the extension fee.

3.) Go back to immigration office during a weekday in the morning (preferably 30 minutes before the immigration office opens) with the billing code paper and get a queue number for photo and fingerprint. After finishing the photo and fingerprint procedure, bring the paper to the same counter you have been to in step 1. They will provide you with the date and time for when you can pick up your passport.

4.) Go back to immigration office at the allocated date and time to pick up your passport from the counter of step 1 and 3.
